THE FESTIVAL

The Selma Cinema Festival returns to historic Selma, Alabama for its second edition, March 26–29, 2026.

Presented by Foot Soldiers Park, the festival brings together filmmakers, residents, and visitors for four days of screenings, conversations, and community events — all free and open to the public.

This year’s festival will feature 23 films from seven countries, exploring themes of resilience, justice, identity, and the human experience.
